Placed at Microsoft main campus, in the Commerce division. I create sample UI designs, process and flow diagrams, illustrations for online help and in house websites for our group.

Continuing Education Instructor January 1999-Present • Bellingham Technical College
I teach 3 classes 4 times a year covering e-mail and internet and world wide web. The classes range from basic to advanced topics covering FTP, internet searches, TELNET, ISPs, mail configuration, downloading files and navigation.

I periodically work for Capetown-Rio to create Flash movies and interactive demos for their accounts. Projects have been completed for MIMEsweeper and Aventail.

I created around 100 technical illustrations for a new website, SUPERBUILD.COM. I worked from existing drawings modifying and creating a unique and uniform style.

Created animated custom GIFs, banner ads, maps, Flash interactive graphics, 3D icons, four color brochures and static graphics for 100 MSNBC affiliate sites nationwide. Performed minor HTML coding to create web pages for uploading to the MSNBC site. Researched specific topics to acquire editorial content to use in conjunction with the graphics.

Assisted with the PC computer migration from WIN 3.1 to WIN 95. I had approximately 240 people to serve on a daily basis troubleshooting software/hardware problems, answering technical questions and installing software.

Created, designed and created pre-press for 4 color brochures, print ads, business cards, desktop publishing and technical illustrations.

Started as a technical writer but later moved into a graphics position where I created over 500 technical illustrations for service and training manuals using CorelDraw and PhotoShop.


Product Design December 1990 – December 1994 • Self Employed/Leaps and Bounds
Designed and assisted in the marketing and manufacture of a line of aluminum crutches. One patent was acquired and manufacturing facilities were set up in Delhi, India and Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Uzbeki facility was created by a joint partnership of Amputee Soccer International and myself. The India facility was a joint venture between a British company and myself.

Invented, developed, marketed and manufactured a line of aluminum hiking staffs.
